About Me

I have worked in drug and alcohol treatment for 15 years both in a Non-Profit and in Private Practice settings. I have my Masters in Counseling Psychology and am Licensed through (CCAPP) California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals. I am a member of CCAPP and The National Association of Addiction Professionals, NAADAC.

Drug and alcohol abuse does not happen in a bubble; an individual’s addiction affects everyone they come into contact with and everyone affects the addict. As a Recovery Counselor, I am available to help everyone involved who are willing to begin looking at possibilities for change. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, adults and families who have been affected by addiction.

I utilize many different treatment approaches including; CBT, Solution Focused, and DBT therapies which have a, reality based model. This means that as we explore the many struggles that addiction brings to individuals and families. I also provide Sandtray and Expressive Arts therapies, that offer an organic and holistic approach to addiction. I am here to provide information as well as empathy to help you find the strength to move forward into recovery.
